These sound like great deals for a septic service. What are some big red flags you’d say are indicative of a septic problem? Ours got pumped a year and a half ago, but I don’t want to wait too long to get it pumped again if there’s a sign that something is wrong.

A Lot depends on the size of your family, and the overall permeability of the Soil in the area that you live. We recommend a septic pump out every 2 to 3 years. If you notice strong and unpleasant odors coming from toilets or showers in your home, this would also indicate a backup! Any other questions please let us know.

My dad and uncle want to get the septic tank up at our cabin pumped. They aren’t sure how to do it since its the first time they have ever had to pump a tank, so they are trying to get everything figured out. This article has some great points that I think will help them find what they are looking for.

Hi, I need your suggestion, the size of septic tank that use for family that have 5 persons? Is there any standard? Best Regard from tank maker.

I liked that you pointed out that you make sure that you clean your septic tank every 2 to 3 years. I am a new homeowner and I am not sure if my tank has been cleaned recently. It seems like I should just get my tank clean.
